The Club offers 1 quality bowling green with active, enthusiastic members, the club also regularly hosts tournaments.
Weekly bowls events.
Tuesday
Over 60’s competition. This competition rotates between 4 clubs, every Tuesday commencing at 1 pm. Players must be a member of a Bowls Club to join the comp. Prizes are meat trays.
- 1st and 2nd Tuesday of the month at Woombye
- 3rd Tuesday of the month at Palmwoods
- 4th Tuesday of the month at Nambour Heights.
- 5th Tuesday of the month at Nambour
Wednesday.
Wednesday competition. Either three bowl pairs or three bowl triples. Registration from 1200 and commences at 1230.
Players must be a member of a Bowls club to play, unless you are considering joining the club, then you can have your first three games as a non-member, but then we would like you to join up. Prizes are meat trays, a raffle and a jackpot draw are held after the game.
Thursday
TABS (Thursday afternoon Bowls). Commences at 4 pm. Prizes are bacon trays. Very social afternoon.
Friday
Friday arvo social bowls. Rock up for a roll up. No charge, bowls available to borrow.
Saturday
Various competition games are held on designated Saturdays for our members. These competitions include:
- Penants. Mens and ladies.
- Hinterland League: Mens and ladies
- Mens 4’s, mixed 4’s.
- Mens and ladies pairs, mixed pairs.
- Mens triples.
- Mens and ladies singles
Sunday
Chook Run barefoot bowls. Registration from 2.30 for a 3.00pm start. Only play 12 ends. Very social afternoon and a great place for beginners to start and it only cost $2 Winning team members win a chook, raffles held after the game. Bowls arec available free of charge.
